Cheryl is one of the original founders and has been in business for over 30 years. She strives to give great customer service and making sure she builds the best possible relationships with her customers.
Renee has over 15 years experience in supply chain, business operations and sales. We keep her out of the office and on the road helping to solve customers’ problems.
Beth is our inside sales coordinator. She has been with our company for over a year now and has sales experience of over 15 years. Beth also helps out in the warehouse in a variety of ways which includes keeping track of inventory and filling orders.
Our marketing coordinator, Matthew, is the newest addition to our company. He brings a business marketing perspective to our team and keeps up with maintaining our website, emails, and social media.
Miguel has been with GIS, Inc. for over 15 years and works as our Warehouse Coordinator. He strives to make sure your product gets to you in the quickest, safest manner possible.
Sheri is our Credit Manager and handles the accounts for GIS, Inc. She manages much of our daily operations and has over 16 years experience in the industrial supply business
GIS Inc. was founded in 1986 with three partners. That original partnership was very brief, as two of the three partners passed away within the first seven months after start-up. This fledgling company forged ahead with the only remaining member of the original partnership, Cheryl Heller. The rest as they say is history, a long and often anxious history, and now GIS is proud to celebrate its 32nd anniversary this year.
From its humble beginnings to the multi-million dollar company it is today, this small business still focuses on the principles established all those years ago. Although it has evolved many times over, the attention to the customer has not waivered.
GIS’s focus has always been on providing the best service and pricing which explains why we still have many of those same customers who started with us all those years ago. Cheryl is often heard saying, “If we don’t take care of our customers, someone else will be happy to.” Striving for excellence with those companies we serve is instilled in all of the GIS employees, most of whom have been with Cheryl for over 15 years.
